Selena Gomez Off-Shoulder Navy Dress

At the Rare Impact Fund Benefit, Selena Gomez effortlessly combined elegance and purpose, stepping out in a semi-strapless black mini-dress that captured both her style and commitment to mental health advocacy. Hosted by her Rare Beauty brand, the benefit aims to increase mental health resources for young people—a cause close to Gomez’s heart.

Selena Gomez brought Hollywood glamour to the red carpet, stunning at her Rare Impact Fund Benefit at Nya Studios West in Los Angeles on Oct. 24. Gomez looked chic in a semi-strapless black mini-dress that featured one exposed shoulder and an off-the-shoulder layered effect on the other side.

The dress showcased a hint of leg, while a ruffled train draped elegantly on the opposite side. She completed the look with a pair of classic black pumps.

Her hair was styled in a wavy blunt bob, parted down the middle. Gomez shared with PEOPLE, “It’s constantly every day showing up for people. We’ve built a community with Rare, and I’m so proud of that. We hopefully have helped people feel less alone, and that’s all our goal has ever been.”

Gomez shared some “practices that I think are really helpful” for protecting her mental health. She emphasized, “Try not to isolate. It’s important to have moments alone, but when you isolate, those feelings can just stay bottled up. If you can find one person to trust and share your heart with, it really helps to open up.”

The annual fundraiser aimed to “raise awareness and funds in support of youth mental health globally,” as stated on the Rare Impact Fund’s website. Proceeds from the event will help the organization enhance access to mental health resources for young people.

Gomez established the Rare Impact Fund as the philanthropic extension of her successful Rare Beauty brand, donating 1% of all Rare Beauty sales to the fund.

Selena Gomez’s appearance at the Rare Impact Fund Benefit not only showcased her impeccable style in a semi-strapless black mini-dress but also highlighted her ongoing commitment to youth mental health.
