Purchased the LashStash to Go set of 5 best-selling mini-mascaras, with this mascara being one of the options. For reference, the others were: Ilia Limitless, Benefit BANG, Milk Rise, & Too Faced BTS. I tried all the others before I tried this one, because, TBH I was expecting to like this one the least. Well, all the others had cons that outweighed the pros. Then, I finally opened Perfect Strokes and I have never been happier with a mascara! The brush is fat and bristly, which allows it to grab every one of my lashes (mine are sparse, short, and flat). The formula is creamy, but not thick. Very minor clumping that resolves itself with a second swipe. The product stays put on my lashes throughout my day with no irritation, even though I have sensitive eyes. My Mascara comes off in a flash when I wash my face- no raccoon eyes. Excellent product! ~ SRea76

This mascara gives awesome volume and length to your lashes without clumping them together or covering them in the product. I always get compliments when I use this product and I think it universally enhances lash length and fullness.
I have used this mascara for about a year and it just ran out on me, so that shows how much use you can get out of it! I wish the brush were a little more hourglass-shaped to help with the separation of lashes, but overall this is an awesome product. One of my favorite mascaras and one of my favorite rare beauty products.
It isn’t waterproof but honestly, I’ve cried with this on and it stays put. I do like that when you use a cleansing balm, it comes off quite easily without damaging lashes. ~ gabigabita.
The only mascara that has ever impressed me
Look. I never leave reviews ever for makeup products because no. But this mascara has changed my life. It does dry up pretty quickly like max 4 months but within those 3-4 months I get the best results. It’s buildable. It’s dark. It’s silky. It smells like nothing (unlike other brands that smell chemically). It doesn’t flake, and it comes off in the shower nicely. I have short and thin lashes and use very thin eyeliner to emphasize the mascara and often it doesn’t matter for other mascara brands how thin the line is. The mascara is bad. But Rare Beauty has it together. It’s fabulous. I know it isn’t for everyone but my god it’s amazing for me. I will never buy another brand of mascara and I’ve tried at least a dozen if not more. It makes my lashes pop. I use three layers on the top lashes and two on the bottom and it never clumps. I am so glad she decided to make a makeup brand because I was so defeated with mascaras and Sephora had a sample size for their point system so I decided to try it for free. Y’all. If you have thin lashes, this is it for you. It’s so refreshing to feel seen for my lashes. It isn’t going to add length but because of how it goes on, it feels like it’s added length. I bought this while waiting in line at the duty-free checkout desk. I am so happy I did because this is the mascara I have been searching for for years!! It’s the only mascara to keep all your lashes separated, yet add volume, length, and color. Seriously, I highly recommend it if you like your mascara to look thick, natural, and long. If I use it on a night out, I go over 3 – 4 times and it gives you a more dramatic look without clumping, or looking like you stuck spiders on your eyes!!. I will never use another mascara again.

I have very sensitive eyes that water when not using hypoallergenic mascaras. Even some that say hypoallergenic still make my eyes water. This mascara DOES NOT make my eyes water!!!! So happy with it for that reason but also makes my lashes look so good. My new fav. Mascara and I use mascara every day!!!! Makes my lashes look really thick and dense and just pretty. I’m leaning on 3 stars but I rated 4 for the clean ingredients. One of the few mascaras on the market that don’t use super toxic ingredients. So I can appreciate that, hence why I will continue to use this product and probably not switch even though it’s not my favorite either. There is better out there but if you’re trying to switch to clean makeup this is a great start for what it is and better than other clean mascaras out there. The con is that it does get a little flakey and dry on your lashes, even when you apply it straight out of the tube which is a bit weird. But granted it keeps my lashes curled up which is a plus. It was also easy to remove but didn’t smudge throughout the day! The only major dealbreaker for me though was the brush and wand. I like smaller bristles, and also for it to be plastic. This is big and has traditional hair bristles, so it gets messy if you’re not careful. Surprisingly good!!
I initially watched a bunch of reviews of this product before actually trying it out. From what I had heard, people either loved it or hated it, or thought it was a dupe of the sky-high mascara. Which funnily enough was my favorite mascara UNTIL I tried this one from Kylie.
I only ever apply one maybe two coats of mascara but I found this one to separate my lashes beautifully and it creates a nice fanned-out look. It wasn’t heavy (didn’t weigh down my lashes) and it didn’t clump at all, even the ends of my eyelashes remained thin (sometimes I have to pinch the ends of my lashes to get rid of clumps/build-up).
It also wore well. I had gone to work and at the time my eyes had been irritated (allergies) and I was expecting smudging or transfer, but NOTHING. After 6 hours I had the smallest specks of flaking but I wouldn’t have noticed unless I had gone so close to the mirror. My lashes kept their volume and curl all day too.
It’s surprisingly a really good mascara and has become my new favorite. Everyone at work kept commenting on how full my lashes looked, even my brother noticed. So I’d recommend it!! ~ Celeste (Reviewed on mecca.com.au)

My first review! This was the first product that I got from her and it was exactly as advertised. As soon as it came out I already pressed buy because I truly wanted to see whether it was good or not.
It exceeded my expectations! I don’t usually buy celebrity brands, but this mascara was what made me surprised that celebrity brands can have really good quality. I’ve heard people say there’s fall out but I’ve never had any! I will say that the brush collects a lot of product, which I scrape off to get the amount I’d like but in general, the brush does well at applying the product on the eyes with no hassles.
